Kylie Kelly [00:00:00]:
A lot of smart, capable business owners are doing everything they were told would work, and yet things feel oddly stalled. Not failing, just not moving. And if that's you, I want you to know this straight away. Nothing has gone wrong. You're not behind, and you're not missing some secret tactic. What's happening is quieter than that. And that's what I want to talk about today.

Kylie Kelly [00:00:27]:
Are you a female business owner frustrated with battling the algorithm and looking for growth strategies that don't involve awkwardly pointing or dancing online or throwing cash at paid ads? Welcome to the Email Growth Show. I'm your host, Kylie Kelly, visibility and email marketing strategist. I grew my email list from zero to almost 10,000 subscribers in less than two years.

Kylie Kelly [00:00:47]:
And the same is possible for you, too.

Kylie Kelly [00:00:50]:
Are you ready to build your email list and start making more money in your online business? Let's head into today's episode.

Kylie Kelly [00:00:59]:
Hey. Hey. Welcome back to the Email Growth Show. As we move towards the end of the year with rapid speed, I've been having a lot of conversations with women who sound confident on the outside but tired underneath. They're showing up, they're creating content, they're doing visibility. They're growing something. But it feels effort, heavy, disconnected, perhaps harder than it should be. So today I'm going to talk about what I actually believe creates momentum going into 2026.

Kylie Kelly [00:01:27]:
Not hype, not hustle, not more, but three visibility shifts that can change how growth feels. This isn't a checklist. This episode is a recalibration. Here is what I'm noticing. So visibility has become noisy and most people are exhausted trying to keep up with it. More platforms, more output, more pressure to be consistent, more pressure to be seen and at a very high quality. A lot of business owners aren't struggling because they're invisible. They're struggling because their visibility isn't landing.

Kylie Kelly [00:01:58]:
It's not turning into clarity, it's not turning into trust. And it's definitely not easy for them. I'm seeing so many women quietly ask themselves, like, why does this feel so hard? Why am I doing all of this and still second guessing? Why am I visible but not really known? And if you've had any of those thoughts, I want you to know that you are not alone. Because here is what I've learned to be true. Growth doesn't respond to pressure. It responds to clarity. And visibility only works when it feels safe to be seen as yourself, not as a brand Persona you're trying to maintain.

Kylie Kelly [00:02:33]:
Maintain.

Kylie Kelly [00:02:33]:
When visibility becomes performative, it fucking drains you right but when it becomes strategic and relational, it can change everything. And I also want to normalize. Like, of course you're tired. Like, of course you're questioning whether it's worth it. Of course you're wondering if maybe you are the problem. Anyone building an online business, especially one that values integrity and depth, would feel this way. You have been taught to believe that more exposure equals more success, but no one really talks about what happens when that exposure does. It doesn't convert into connection.

Kylie Kelly [00:03:06]:
Nothing is wrong with you wanting visibility that feels calmer. That desire is actually really smart. You've probably already wondered if you actually need to be everywhere. You've probably thought, like, what if I just picked one place and did it properly? Or what if I just stopped chasing reach? Or what if growth didn't feel like I'm constantly behind? Like, most people already know this at some level. They just haven't been given the permission to trust into it. So let's talk about what these three moves are and what this can look like in practice. So move number one, depth over distribution. So a pattern I see a lot is this business owners spreading themselves across platforms in the name of growth, but losing connection in the process.

Kylie Kelly [00:03:49]:
Depth is actually what builds familiarity. Familiarity builds trust, and trust is what creates sustainable sales. In 2026, I believe the businesses at scale will be the ones that choose one primary visibility lane and commit to it deeply. Not because the other platforms are bad, but because your message needs somewhere to breathe. It needs a home base. It needs somewhere to land. For me, that has always been email and podcasting. Both of those spaces.

Kylie Kelly [00:04:19]:
Let me tell stories, let me lead, let me share my voice in a way that actually lands right where I can go deep, just like I am today. Choosing one platform and going deep is not going to limit your growth. If anything, it is going to anchor it. This also means that when life is lifing and it might be the most challenging week for you to show up, if you've just committed to one main platform and going deep on it, that means that you only have to do that one main platform in that hard week, right? And do it well. You don't have to do 3, 4, 5, 6 other things in a week that's already hard. So think about that as well. Like, let's set ourselves up so that we can still be consistent and connect with our audience even on our hardest weeks. Because that there, that one single move is going to mean that your business is growing so much faster than you spreading yourself too thin on all of these other Distribution channels, all of these other platforms, right? Remember, depth over distribution.

Kylie Kelly [00:05:19]:
Move number two, rooms over audiences. Another pattern I keep noticing is this shift away from passive consumption and towards participation. Right? Audiences listen, rooms engage. I want that to land. Remember, audiences listen. It's great. But rooms engage. So think workshops, events, live conversations, small, intentional spaces.

Kylie Kelly [00:05:45]:
These aren't about scale for scale's sake, right? They're not about the big numbers. They're about trust building faster. Your business is only going to grow at the speed of trust. So what you need to do as a CEO, as the leader of your business, is create opportunities where you can build as much trust as possible as quickly as possible, right? So curating rooms like this that build trust is going to build your business faster than ever before. When people experience you, not just your content, something changes. Questions get answered, confidence builds, momentum starts to feel real. I have felt this over and over again hosting my empire expansion events. I'm hosting my third one in January, and the last two fucking game changers for building trust with the ladies that have come.

Kylie Kelly [00:06:31]:
So again, the rooms might not have been the largest, right? They didn't have hundreds of people. Literally was less than 30 women each time. But the trust that I could build with each one of those women is so much deeper than what it could have been if it was a large audience, right? It was a small curated room, not a large audience. This is where every significant growth leap in my business has come from. It's these kinds of rooms. Not because they're flashy, but because they were human and they built trust fast. So remember, your business will only grow at the speed of trust. How can you build more trust with the people you want to work with in 2026? And the third move is visibility with direction.

Kylie Kelly [00:07:11]:
This is where things often quietly break down. Visibility without direction creates exhaustion. Visibility with a clear pathway creates momentum and revenue. A question I always come back to. If somebody loved what I just shared, what will happen next? Not in a salesy way, but in a respectful way. Like if they wanted to take the next step. Am I making it clear for them? Am I making it easy for them? Do they know what that is? Being clear is actually being kind for you and your audience. So when your visibility leads somewhere intentional, your list, your events, your ecosystem growth starts to compound instead of resetting each time.

Kylie Kelly [00:07:50]:
So what does this look like in practicality? So think about where do you want to lead people, right? What is your signature offer? Where do you want them to go? Then reverse engineer that back. How can I create a room where that is the next step. This is exactly what I do in my Empire expansion events, right? I created a room that leads to my Empress Mastermind. They can't actually buy anything when they are at the Empire expansion event. They can't two full days of workshopping, of actually getting stuff done, of coming up with a plan to scale without social. Using my frameworks, using my bots, using my brain, they can't buy anything. However, we always have a feedback call where they do give me feedback on the event, which I really appreciate. And if they have questions about the support, guess where I'm going to be pointing them to.

Kylie Kelly [00:08:33]:
It's the Empress Mastermind. Because the next step is exactly what we do in Empress. So think about what is your signature offer? Where do you want to lead people? Reverse engineer that back. What kind of room can I create to build trust that's going to lead them there? Now, I do want to say that not everyone needs to do visibility the same way. I'm not saying that there's one right model. I'm not saying go and create an event just like mine and it will absolutely work for you. Because this is the nuance, right? Like every strategy across whatever's been created over the last 10 years in an online business, it all works. It all works in its own way.

Kylie Kelly [00:09:08]:
The thing is, we have to figure out what works best for you, right? There's not one right model. But what I am noticing is that the businesses that feel calm and profitable and no longer chasing attention, they're building simple ecosystems. They know how to be visible. They know who they're speaking to, and they know what comes next. That clarity changes everything. So I want to leave you with this. I want you to know that you don't need to rush this. You don't need to overhaul everything overnight.

Kylie Kelly [00:09:37]:
You don't need to follow anybody else's blueprint. You get to decide what 2026 looks like for you. But if something inside you is whispering, I want growth that feels steadier than this, I would listen. You deserve business growth that supports you, right? Instead of visibility that asks you to perform. So again, think about depth over distribution. What is your one home base that you can create depth with? Instead of trying to be everywhere, how can you create rooms over just collecting an audience, remembering that your business grows at the speed of trust. How can you create more trust with the people you want to work with? And then lastly, remember that you need direction. Any visibility, any exposure, any attention that you get needs to have a purpose, needs to be directing them to where you want them to go.

Kylie Kelly [00:10:25]:
I want your business growth in 2026 to start to compound instead of resetting all of the time. I don't want you to start from scratch every month. So think about these three moves. How can you then build them into your 2026 plan as you start to think about next year? And of course if you are ready for support, please reach out. You can simply start with one of my business breakthroughs and then if you are a good fit for the Empire expansion event for my one on one work, anything like that, I will tell you.
