Kylie Kelly [00:00:00]:
Okay, before we even roll into the intro today, I want to speak directly to the woman who already knows she's outgrown the room she's in, but is still trying to convince herself she could stay. Maybe you've said it out loud. Maybe you've whispered it to yourself. Maybe you've avoided saying it because it feels disloyal. But here's the truth no one in this industry talks about. Your loyalty belongs to your results, not to your coach. And staying in a container that stopped serving you three months ago, that's not loyalty. That is fear.

Kylie Kelly [00:00:28]:
That is conditioning. That's the sunken cost fallacy dressed up as integrity. So if you've been feeling that quiet whisper that says, ah, I don't know if this is the right room for me anymore or I'm supposed to be in a different room next year, I want to tell you something beautiful and maybe a little disruptive. You're allowed to choose the container that grows the woman that you're becoming, even if it means leaving the coach that grew you to the woman that you are today. And because timing matters, and because so many of you have told me you're ready but you're scared to leap, I'm doing something I have never done before. I'm offering $1,000 off your Empress Mastermind enrollment and December completely free. Just a clean, spacious invitation for the women who know they want to walk into 2026 differently. More supported, more strategic, more seen, more held.

Kylie Kelly [00:01:16]:
If you've been waiting for the right time, this might just be it. You can find the link to all the details in the show notes. Alright, let's get into the episode because today we are asking a question that could change the direction of your next year. I Are you being loyal to your coach or to your future self?

Kylie Kelly [00:01:37]:
Are you a female business owner frustrated with battling the algorithm and looking for growth strategies that don't involve awkwardly pointing or dancing online or throwing cash at paid ads? Welcome to the Email Growth Show. I'm your host, Kylie Kelly, visibility and email marketing strategist. I grew my email list from zero to almost 10,000 subscribers in less than two years.

Kylie Kelly [00:01:57]:
And the same is possible for you, too.

Kylie Kelly [00:02:00]:
Are you ready to build your email list and start making more money in your online business? Let's head into today's episode.

Kylie Kelly [00:02:08]:
Hey. Hey. Welcome back to the Email Growth Show. Now, today we're having a conversation that might feel a little bit spicy, a little bit uncomfortable, and also perhaps wildly clarifying over the past few months through my Empire expansion event calls, through my business breakthroughs through launch conversations. I keep hearing a version of the same sentence. I want to work with you but I already committed to another program or my contract ends in March. So maybe then. Or I feel bad leaving because I just love my coach or I don't want to quit, I have to see it through.

Kylie Kelly [00:02:45]:
And every single time someone says this, I feel a familiar ache in my chest. Because I have been that woman. The one trying to be a good client even when the container stopped being a good fit. The one clinging to loyalty even when the growth had clearly plateau. Or the one telling herself, well I paid for it, so I need to squeeze every last drop out of this experience. So today I want to talk about it because I have a question for you. Are you being loyal to your coach or to your future self? Because my love, those two are not always the same thing. Now let's talk about the I stayed because I didn't want to be that client.

Kylie Kelly [00:03:23]:
Let me start with some honesty. I have stayed in rooms longer than I should have. Not because they were bad rooms, not because the coach was wrong, not because I wasn't grateful. I stayed because I didn't want to look flaky. I didn't want to feel judged. I didn't want to be dramatic. I didn't want to hurt someone's feelings. And honestly, I didn't want to admit to myself that it wasn't working anymore.

Kylie Kelly [00:03:47]:
So I stayed month after month, call after call, telling myself just get through the container. Like just make it to the end of six months, just make it to the end of the year. But my body knew before I did. Every single time I got off a call feeling flat, confused or like I just sat through another group coaching monologue that had nothing to do with what I actually needed. And one day I realized something that changed everything. I was being more loyal to the container, to the coach, than to the woman that I was becoming. Often we confuse loyalty with integrity and we pay the price. Women especially, we are conditioned to keep our commitments, to be easy, to not disappoint anyone, not question the expert.

Kylie Kelly [00:04:29]:
Finish what we start. And all of that is beautiful until it becomes self abandonment dressed up as integrity. Because staying in support that no longer supports you. That's not loyalty my love, that's self sacrifice. And the women building empires don't build them that way. So let's talk about the sunken cost fallacy. The part that no one admits. So the sunken cost fallacy says I've already invested so much, leaving now would make it a waste but here's the truth.

Kylie Kelly [00:05:00]:
The moment you realize a container no longer serves you, staying is the waste. Staying because of what you spent six months ago doesn't honour your future. It only protects your pride. The investment is already spent. That money, it's already gone. So the question now becomes, is this still moving me forward or am I staying? Because leaving would feel uncomfortable now. More often, I would say that women especially stay loyal to coaches from guilt more than from growth. And I'll be the one to say it, because someone has to.

Kylie Kelly [00:05:36]:
Like, coaching is a business transaction. It's not a marriage. Like, you're not cheating on anyone by choosing the room that supports your next level. You're allowed to outgrow people, even good people. Now, I know this is hard because sometimes the coach is lovely, the community is kind. The experience might have been exactly what you needed for a time. But seasons shift. You don't owe anyone another round.

Kylie Kelly [00:06:00]:
If you've already gotten what you came for, you could outgrow a container, a style, a pace, a philosophy, a season, a mentor, a model, a methodology. You can outgrow it all without drama, without betrayal, and without fucking feeling guilty. You're not breaking up with them as a human. You're graduating. And graduation is not disrespectful. It is evolution. Now, if you're listening, I wanted to make sure this is practical. How do you know if it's time to move on? I want to remind you that your nervous system knows before your mind actually does.

Kylie Kelly [00:06:33]:
So look for the signs. How do you feel when you get off calls? Do you feel flat or do you feel expanded? Are you hearing the same advice on Loop? Or shall I say it? Does it sound a little AI driven? Is it something that you suspect might have been copy and pasted from ChatGPT? That is a thing. Now, do you feel safe to ask for support? Are you making visible progress? Are you shrinking to fit the room instead of rising to lead it? Do your ideas feel too big, too nuanced or too complex for the container? Are you hiding the truth of your business because you don't want to disappoint anyone? Are you more excited listening to other coaches content? Are you waiting it out instead of being activated by the work? If you feel any of that, you're not growing in that space anymore. You're just maintaining. And maintaining is not why you invested. Your future self is asking for something more, or perhaps something different. I want you to think about her. Think about the 2026 version of you, the woman with a self sustaining Email list, spacious visibility, reoccurring revenue, a crystal clear message and simple strategic growth.

Kylie Kelly [00:07:46]:
Does she stay in containers out of obligation or does she choose environments that expand her? She's not loyal to past decisions. She is loyal to her direction, to what she's building, to her vision, to the empire that she can see is right in front of her and the people that she fucking wants to impact. The minute something stops supporting her trajectory, she pivots. Not out of disrespect, but out of self respect. Now this became so clear. So after my last Empire expansion event, I met so many brilliant women who are ready. They're ready for clarity, they're ready for support, they're ready for momentum, they're ready for strategy. That feels good.

Kylie Kelly [00:08:24]:
They're ready for the results. But so many said, like, I'm committed to another mastermind or I can't leave now or I like to be in long term containers, so I'm just going to see it out for another one to two years or I've paid until March, I should stay. And look, I get it all. Like, this is not an episode aimed at any one of those women, because I get it. But delaying your next level to honor an old decision, that fucking fires me up. Because it's not growth, that's fear. Wearing a responsible mask. This is your permission to say it's not personal.

Kylie Kelly [00:08:54]:
It's just no longer aligned. I had this very conversation with a mastermind that I just ended a couple months ago because it's the truth. It wasn't personal. I just didn't need it anymore. I got what I needed and I've moved on. So if you are listening to this and this is hitting you right in the gut, I want this to be your check in. I want you to ask yourself, am I being loyal to my coach or am I being loyal to my future self? Am I staying because it's truly aligned or because I don't want to feel uncomfortable, right? Am I honoring my expansion? Or maybe the guilt that I'm feeling at the thought of leaving your next level doesn't come from loyalty to the past. It comes from courage right now in the present.

Kylie Kelly [00:09:37]:
Now I want to leave you with this because when I was creating Empress, my mastermind, I did it very differently. And I think this is why women feel this the pool, right? Because Empress isn't a course. It's not a passive mastermind where you sit in fucking zoom hoping your question gets picked. I can't stand those. It's not a place where you quietly fall behind. It's co creation, it's personalized, it's intimate, it's strategic and it tracks real progress. List growth, messaging, clarity, visibility, expansion, offer refinement, sales, revenue, consistency. Women are joining not because they need another coach, but because they need a partner.

Kylie Kelly [00:10:13]:
A reflector, a strategist. Someone who can see the gaps and just name them clearly. Someone who walks with them, not above them. This is why the loyalty conversation matters. Because the wrong rooms keep you stagnant. They keep you from fucking getting what you deserve. But the right room can change your entire business. Now I know, my love, I know this is a big one and I know I get really passionate about this.

Kylie Kelly [00:10:37]:
But it's because I believe in women making decisions that honor their growth, their vision, their standards and their leadership. You are not meant to stay small. You are not meant to be politely loyal. You are meant to rise boldly, unapologetically and with clean, grounded support behind you. So if you know you want 2026 to feel different and you want guidance that's hands on, that's intimate, that's strategic and spacious, I am here. And whether your next step is Empress or something else entirely, I just want you to choose the room that honors who you are becoming. I want that for you so damn much. All right, the links for all my things are in the show notes.

Kylie Kelly [00:11:17]:
If you do want to check out Empress, there is a special December offer on right now. I will link the doc that explains it all so you can check it out. Please reach out if you have any questions. Otherwise I love you so much. I really do want the best for you and I will see you next week. All right, bye for now. Thank you so much for tuning into.
